The FBI Association of Intelligence Analysts is a community of intelligence professionals who began their careers in the FBI and later transitioned to the private sector, academia, and the nonprofit sector.

One of the most frequently asked questions we receive is:

➡️ For those with experience in threat analysis, operational planning, and strategic assessment, risk management offers a natural progression where your skills can shine. Organizations in finance, technology, healthcare, manufacturing, and other industries depend on risk management experts to anticipate challenges and develop proactive solutions. You have a chance to expand your perspective from threat management to risk management by helping an organization navigate:

1. What is the threat environment relevant to my organization?
