💡 The FBI Association of Intelligence Analysts is proud to announce that AIA Member Dr. Charles M. Russo, PhD will be taking the stage at this year’s I3 (Intelligence, Innovation, Imagination) Summit, a conference for intelligence professionals, by intelligence professionals: https://emergentriskinternational.com/event/i3-intelligence-innovation-imagination-2/
Dr. Russo brings more than 30 years of distinguished service across the U.S. Intelligence Community, FBI, and US military, where he specialized in counterterrorism, complex financial crimes, and intelligence collection management. During his FBI tenure, he led critical intelligence programs at TEDAC and SC DIV, providing insights that shaped national operations and mentoring countless new analysts at Quantico.
Since transitioning from government service, Dr. Russo has continued to lead and inspire by serving in senior defense contracting roles (Leidos, SAIC), as COO in the private sector, and as a full-time faculty member and academic leader in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, and Cybersecurity at Columbia Southern University and the Henley-Putnam School of National American University.
🚀 Dr. Russo reminds us that intelligence analysis is as much about ethics and communication as it is about technology. He emphasizes translating government-honed skills into the private sector, maintaining integrity as AI reshapes our field, and staying committed to lifelong learning. His career proves that curiosity, adaptability, and mentorship are what truly sustain the impact of intelligence professionals beyond their government service.
